In August, 2019, China's producer price index (PPI) declined by 0.8% year-on-year and 0.1% month-on-month. Meanwhile, the purchasing price index was down 1.3% year-on-year and 0.2% month-on-month. On the average from January to August, the PPI increased by 0.1% from the same period last year, and the purchasing price index decreased by 0.2%.
