Weekly Hog Price and Breeding Margins in China（Week 38, 2019）
I.Hog Price
This week (Sept 12-20), hog price nationwide keeps the upward trend. As of this Friday, the average price index is 29.2 yuan/kg, an increase of 0.36 yuan/kg or 1.25% from 28.84 yuan/kg last Friday and an increase of 15.26 yuan/kg or 109.46% from 13.94 yuan/kg the corresponding period last year.

II. Breeding Margins
The feed cost this week is unchanged, but the breeding margins lower on an obvious rise of piglet cost. The average profit of per pig breeding is 1113.48 yuan this week, down by 8.2% from 1212.72 yuan last week and up by 612.2% or 957.13 yuan from 156.35 yuan of the same period last year.
