This week (Sept 20-27), hog price nationwide keeps the upward trend. As of this Friday, the average price index is 29.43 yuan/kg, an increase of 0.23 yuan/kg or 0.79% from 29.2 yuan/kg last Friday and an increase of 15.72 yuan/kg or 114.66% from 13.71 yuan/kg the corresponding period last year.

This week average margin of per pig breeding is 1069.8 yuan, down by 3.9% from 1113.48 yuan last week and up by 635.0% or 924.28 yuan from 145.6 yuan of the same period last year.
