China imported 8.20 mln tonnes of soybeans in September 2019, down 1.2807 mln tonnes or 13.51% from 9.4807 mln tonnes in the previous month, yet up 190,400 tonnes or 2.38% from 8.0096 mln tonnes in September  2018; soybean imports from January to September totaled 64.5146 mln tonnes, down 5.4938 mln tonnes, or 7.85% from 70.0084 mln tonnes in the corresponding period last year, according to data released by China's Customs on Oct 8.
