This week (Oct 11-18), hog price nationwide keeps the upward trend. As of this Friday, the average price index is 36.81 yuan/kg, an increase of 1.13 yuan/kg or 3.17% from 35.68 yuan/kg last Friday and an increase of 23.21 yuan/kg or 170.66% from 13.60 yuan/kg the same period last year.

This week, nationwide average profit of per pig breeding is 1676.1 yuan, up by 5.2% from 1593.66 yuan last week and up by 1556.94 yuan or 1306.7% from 119.15 yuan the same period last year.
