Reuters: Talks on exports of Brazilian cottonseed and soybean meal to China are underway and technical teams from both sides will need more negotiations, according to Brazilian Agriculture Minister Tereza Cristina Dias. Besides, Cristina says that he hopes Chinese government will issue more licenses to Brazilian meat exporters before Chinese leaders visit Brazil next month. 

Bloomberg: Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro arrived in Beijing on October 24 to have a three-day visit in China. Bolsonaro said in an interview on October 22 that Huawei would not be a concern in his visit, but the market broadly expected a discussion on Huawei’s bid on building 5G in Brazil. Recently, Brazilian Foreign Minister said that Brazil would very soon choose its 5G partner. 

Bloomberg: Brazilian Agriculture Minister Tereza Cristina said on Twitter on October 24 that China might authorize more Brazilian meat exporters. China allowed another 25 meat-process firms to export to China last month, a total of 89 firms so far.
