This week (Oct 18-25), hog price nationwide keeps the high upward trend. As of this Friday, the average price index is 40.89 yuan/kg, an increase of 4.08 yuan/kg or 11.08% from 36.81 yuan/kg last Friday and an increase of 27.61 yuan/kg or 207.91% from 13.28 yuan/kg the same period last year.

This week, nationwide average profit of per pig breeding is 2123.7 yuan, up by 447.7% from 1676.1 yuan last week and up by 2044.2 yuan or 2571.04% from 79.5 yuan the same period last year.
