This week (Nov. 15-Nov. 22), hog price nationwide continues to drop but more slowly. As of this Friday, the average price index is 32.80 yuan/kg, a decrease of 2.10 yuan/kg or 6.02% from 34.90 yuan/kg last Friday and an increase of 20.16 yuan/kg or 159.49% from 12.64 yuan/kg the same period last year.

This week, nationwide average profit of per pig breeding is 1039.30 yuan, down by 277.94 yuan or 21.1% from 1317.24 yuan last week and up by 996.05 yuan or 2303.0% from 43.25 yuan the same period last year.
