Soybean crush in November in China
According to final detailed investigation and verification by Cofeed, soybean crush in oil mills in November totals 7,126,100 tonnes (meal 5,629,619 tonnes and oil 1,353,959 tonnes), up 434,300 tonnes by 6.49% from 6,691,800 tonnes in October, but down by 0.85% from 7,187,900 tonnes of the same period last year.
Soybean crush nationwide totals 6,691,800 tonnes in the crushing year of 2019/2020 (from Oct. 1st, 2019), down 1,635,600 tonnes by 10.58% from 15,453,500 tonnes in 2018/2019. In calendar 2019 (from Jan. 1st, 2019), national soybean crush totals 75,845,000 tonnes, down 5,152,852 tonnes by 6.20% from 80,997,852 tonnes in 2018.

China imported 6.1814 mln tonnes of soybeans in October 2019, down 2.0152 mln tonnes or 24.59% from 8.1966 mln tonnes in the previous month and down 739,600 tonnes or 10.69% from 6.9206 mln tonnes in October 2018.
According to Cofeed, the import is predicted to be 125 cargoes with 8.1085 mln tonnes for November, 144 cargoes with 9.349 mln tonnes for December, 7.0 mln tonnes for January, 4.5 mln tonnes for February and 4.8 mln tonnes for March. Statistics will be updated every week on account of variable and unstable buying.
Monthly carryover stocks at ports in China
Soybean stocks continue to decline in November due to slightly higher crush than the previous month. By the end of November, imported soybean stocks total 4,392,000 tonnes, down 234,000 tonnes by 5.05% from 4,626,000 tonnes in October and down by 37.07% from 6,975,000 tonnes of the corresponding period last year. The stocks are predicted to increase fractionally with huge imports arriving at ports in December.
