The Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council is working on tax exemptions for U.S. soybean, pork imports  in light of applications submitted by related enterprises, said Gao Feng, spokesman of China's Ministry of Commerce. 

He also said that Chinese and US trade negotiators have been in close communications.
