This week (Dec. 14-20), with little change in operation rates among coastal regions, the crush in 101 domestic mills surveyed by Cofeed has held steady at 42,000 tonnes (imported rapeseed 42,000 tonnes and domestic rapeseed 0 tonne). Meanwhile, the operation rate (capability utilization) has been flat at 8.38%, of which it is 0% for domestic rapeseed; and it has been 20.34% for imported rapeseed in coastal regions. The crush is expected to increase marginally to 43,000 tonnes next week, and then fall to 35,000 tonnes that following week for a lack of supply in some mills. Due to rapeseed shortages, the overall crush remains at a relatively low level at present.
