This week (Dec. 20-Dec. 27), hog price nationwide fluctuates to edge up. As of this Friday, the average price index is 33.73 yuan/kg, an increase of 0.08 yuan/kg or 0.20% from 33.65 yuan/kg last Friday and an increase of 21.04 yuan/kg or 165.80% from 12.69 yuan/kg the same period last year.

This week, nationwide average profit of per pig breeding up by 9.78 yuan or 0.8% to 1178.38 yuan from 1168.60 yuan last week; that up by 1077.77 yuan or 845.3% from 123.62 yuan the same period last year.
