This week (Dec. 27, 2019-Jan. 3, 2020), hog price nationwide goes up. As of this Friday, the average price index is 36.01 yuan/kg, an increase of 2.28 yuan/kg or 6.80% from 33.73 yuan/kg last Friday and an increase of 23.17 yuan/kg or 180.5% from 12.84 yuan/kg the same period last year.

This week, nationwide average profit of per pig breeding up by 258.57 yuan or 21.9% to 1436.95 yuan from 1178.38 yuan last week; that up by 1322.17 yuan or 1151.9% from 114.78 yuan the same period last year.
