Daily Review on Grain Market in China--22/1/2020
Today (Jan. 22), the market for grains in China is shown as follows:
Corn: Prices remain flat in domestic regions today. It is 1,880-2,010 yuan/tonne among deep-processing enterprises in Shandong, and not offered in Jinzhou port, Liaoning and Shekou port, Guangdong.
Sellers are getting off the market with the coming of the Chinese Lunar New Year, and traders in belt have successively stopped the purchases and sales. Besides, grain-consuming enterprises have completed replenishment for the festival, and corn arrivals in local regions have also been decreasing; hence, the market will be in light trading gradually. Overall, corn market is predicted to be little changed ahead for the festival and will probably keep steady.
Sorghum and Barley: Prices are unavailable today, as most traders have been leaving the market for their Lunar New Year holidays.
