NBS: Jan-Feb CPI up 5.3% y/y, pork prices up 125.6% y/y
In January and February 2020, the Consumer Price Index rose 5.3% from a year earlier. Among them, grain prices went up by 0.6%, fresh vegetable increased by 13.8%, pork prices grew by 125.6%, and fresh fruits decreased by 5.3%, according to National Bureau of Statistics on March 16th.
Jan and Feb CPI rose by 5.4% and 5.2% year on year and 1.4% and 0.8% month on month.
