This week (Apr. 17-24, 2020), hog price nationwide continues the decline. As of this Friday, the average price index is 33.11 CNY/kg, a decrease of 0.82 CNY/kg or 2.40% from 33.93 CNY/kg last Friday and an increase of 17.19 CNY/kg or 117.80% from 15.20 CNY/kg the same period last year.

II. Breeding Margins
This week, nationwide average profit of per pig breeding is 937.14 CNY, a decrease of 87.53 CNY from 1024.67 CNY last Friday; that up by 948.80 CNY or 8137.20% from -11.66 CNY the same period last year.
