I.Hog Price
This week (May. 15-22), hog price goes up around the country. And the average hog price index is 28.79 CNY/kg nationwide, an increase of 2.30 CNY/kg or 8.70% from 26.49 CNY/kg last Friday and an increase of 13.63 CNY/kg or 89.90% from 26.49 CNY/kg the corresponding period last year.

II. Breeding Margins
This week, the breeding margin of purchased piglet is 687.87 CNY per head nationwide, an increase of 362.87 CNY/head or 111.70% from 325.00 CNY last Friday; that increases by 737.04 CNY or 1499.00% from -49.17 a year earlier.
