Weekly Hog Price and Breeding Margins in China (Week 23, 2020)
I.Hog Price
This week (May. 29-Jun. 5), hog price extends the rally nationwide. And the average hog price index is 31.51 CNY/kg nationwide, an increase of 2.04 CNY/kg or 6.90% from 29.47 CNY/kg last Friday and an increase of 15.04 CNY/kg or 91.30% from 16.47 CNY/kg in the corresponding period last year.

II. Breeding Margins
This week, the breeding margin of purchased piglet is 1122.23 CNY per head nationwide, up 323.39 CNY/head or 40.50% from 798.84 CNY last Friday; that increases by 984.03 CNY or 2001.30% from 138.20 a year earlier.
