With a further decline in operation rates this week (June 27-July 3), rapeseed crush in 101 domestic mills surveyed by Cofeed has totaled 39,560 tonnes (imported rapeseed 39,000 tonnes and domestic rapeseed 560 tonnes), down 13,440 tonnes or 25.36% from 53,000 tonnes from last week. Meanwhile, the operation rate (capability utilization) is 7.9% this week compared to 10.58% last week, of which it is 0.21% for domestic rapeseed; and it moves lower to 18.89% this week from 25.67% last week for imported rapeseed in coastal regions. As some mills will resume production, rapeseed crush is will increase to 56,500 tonnes and 61,500 tonnes in the next two weeks, respectively. Overall, due to rapeseed shortages, the crush remains at a relatively low level at present.
