In June 2020, Producer Price Index (PPI) for Industrial Products declined by 3% from the corresponding period last year but increased by 0.4% from the previous month, according to the National Bureau of Statistics. The purchasing price index for industrial products was 4.4% lower than a year earlier but 0.4% higher than a month earlier. In the first half of the year, the PPI sank by 1.9% and the purchasing price index declined by 2.6% compared to the same period last year.
