China imported about 90,000 tonnes of cotton in June, a month-on-month increase of 20,000 tonnes or 28.57%, and a year-on-year reduction of 67,500 tonnes or 42.86%; Jan-Jun imports totaled about 898,000 tonnes, a reduction of 278,300 tonnes from the corresponding period last year, according to data by China's General Administration of Customs.
