I. Hog Price
This week (Jul. 20-24), hog price in China extends the decline. And the average hog price index is 37.10 CNY/kg nationwide, a decline of 0.85 CNY/kg or 2.20% from 37.95 CNY/kg a week earlier and an increase of 17.62 CNY/kg or 90.50% from 19.48 CNY/kg in the corresponding period last year.

II. Breeding Margins
This week, the breeding margin of purchased piglet is 1504.81 CNY per head nationwide, down by 162.24 CNY/head or 9.70% from 1667.05 CNY last week and up by 1033.20 CNY or 2101.30% from 471.61 CNY a year earlier.
