As operation rates are slightly higher in coastal regions this week (July 25-31), rapeseed crush in 101 domestic mills surveyed by Cofeed totals 63,560 tonnes, up 10,000 tonnes or 18.67% from 53,560 tonnes last week, of which imported rapeseed is 63,000 tonnes (meal 37,800 tonnes and oil 25,200 tonnes) and domestic rapeseed 560 tonnes. Meanwhile, the operation rate (capability utilization) goes up to 12.69% from 10.69% last week, of which it is 0.21% for domestic rapeseed; and it is 30.51% for imported rapeseed in coastal regions, compared to 25.67% last week. The crush is predicted to decline to 54,500 tonnes both next week and then pick up to 63,500 tonnes that following week. Overall, due to rapeseed shortages, the crush remains at a relatively low level at present.
