I. Hog Price
This week (Aug 3-7), hog price in China is curbed after a rise. And the average hog price index is 37.91 CNY/kg nationwide, a decrease of 0.02 CNY/kg or 0.10% from 37.93 CNY/kg a week earlier and an increase of 16.26 CNY/kg or 75.10% from 21.65 CNY/kg in the corresponding period last year.

II. Breeding Margins
This week, the breeding margin of purchased piglet is 1574.22 CNY per head nationwide, flat from last week and up by 861.41 CNY or 1751.90% from 712.81 CNY a year earlier.
