I. Hog Price
This week (Aug 10-14), hog price in China continues the decline. The average price index of hog is 37.01 CNY/kg nationwide, down by 0.90 CNY/kg or 2.40% from 37.91 CNY/kg last week, up by 12.60 CNY/kg or 51.60% compared with 24.41 CNY/kg in the same period last year.

II. Breeding Margins
This week, the breeding margin of purchased piglet is 1510.20 CNY per head nationwide, down by 64.02 CNY or 4.10% from last Friday and up by 503.15 CNY or 1023.30% from 1007.05 CNY a year earlier.
