I. Hog Price
This week (August 31-September 4), hog price in China goes slightly higher. And the average price index nationwide is 37.04 CNY/kg, an increase of 0.23 CNY/kg or 0.60% versus 36.81 CNY/kg in the previous week, and an increase of 8.74 CNY/kg or 30.90% compared with 28.30 CNY/kg in the same period last year.

II. Breeding Margins
This week, the breeding margin of purchased piglet is 1562.27 CNY per head nationwide, up by 45.19 CNY or 3.00% from 1517.08 CNY last Friday and up by 283.80 CNY or 22.20% from 1278.47 CNY a year earlier.
