With a continued rise in operation rates in coastal regions this week (Sept 5-11), rapeseed crush in 101 domestic mills surveyed by Cofeed totals 62,560 tonnes, up 4,000 tonnes or 6.83% from 58,560 tonnes last week. Of it, imported rapeseed is 62,000 tonnes (meal 34,100 tonnes and oil 26,040 tonnes) and domestic rapeseed 560 tonnes. Meanwhile, the operation rate (capability utilization) goes up to 12.49% from 11.69% last week, of which it is 0.21% for domestic rapeseed; and it is 30.02% for imported rapeseed in coastal regions, compared to 28.09% last week. The crush is predicted to increase to 63,500 tonnes in the next two weeks, respectively. Overall, due to rapeseed shortages, the crush remains at a relatively low level at present.
