I. Hog Price
This week (September 4-September 11), hog price in China extends the decline. And the average price index nationwide is 36.14 CNY/kg, a decrease of 0.90 CNY/kg or 2.40% versus 37.04 CNY/kg in the previous week, and a decline of 7.30 CNY/kg or 25.30% compared with 28.84 CNY/kg in the same period last year.

II. Breeding Margins
This week, the breeding margin of purchased piglet is 1460.74 CNY per head nationwide, down by 101.53 CNY or 6.50% from 1562.27 CNY last Friday and up by 248.02 CNY or 20.50% from 1212.72 CNY a year earlier.
