I. Hog Price
This week (September 14-September 18), hog price in China extends the decline. And the average price index nationwide is 35.18 CNY/kg, a decrease of 0.96 CNY/kg or 2.70% versus 36.14 CNY/kg in the previous week, and a decline of 5.98 CNY/kg or 20.50% compared with 29.20 CNY/kg in the same period last year.

II. Breeding Margins
This week, the breeding margin of purchased piglet is 1370.98 CNY per head nationwide, down by 89.76 CNY or 6.150% from 1460.74 CNY last Friday and up by 257.50 CNY or 23.10% from 1113.48 CNY a year earlier.
