With a slight decline in operation rates in coastal regions this week (Sept 19-25), rapeseed crush in 101 domestic mills surveyed by Cofeed totals 62,560 tonnes, down 1,000 tonnes or 1.57% from 63,560 tonnes last week. Of it, imported rapeseed is 62,000 tonnes (meal 34,100 tonnes and oil 26,040 tonnes) and domestic rapeseed 560 tonnes. Meanwhile, the operation rate (capability utilization) goes down to 12.49% from 12.69% last week, of which it is 0.21% for domestic rapeseed; and it is 30.02% for imported rapeseed in coastal regions, compared to 30.51% last week. The crush is predicted to steady at 63,500 tonnes in the next two weeks, respectively. The overall crush remains low amid rapeseed shortages.
