I. Hog Price
This week (October 12th-Oct 16th), hog price in China extends the decline. And the average price index nationwide is 29.77 CNY/kg, a decrease of 1.93 CNY/kg or 6.10% versus 31.70 CNY/kg in the previous week, and a decline of 5.91 CNY/kg or 16.60% compared with 35.68 CNY/kg in the same period last year.

II. Breeding Margins
This week, the breeding margin of purchased piglet is 1030.82 CNY per head nationwide, down by 153.67 CNY or 13.00% from 1184.49 CNY last Friday and down by 562.84 CNY or 35.30% from 1593.66 CNY a year earlier.
