China imported 1.08 mln tonnes of corn in September, an increase of 57884.52 tonnes or 5.56% from 1.02 mln tonnes in August and an increase of 940,000 tonnes or 673.78% from a year earlier, according to data by China's General Administration of Customs.

China’s corn imports totaled 6.67 mln tonnes from Jan to Sept, a year-over-year increase of 2.8 mln tonnes or 72.46%.
