I. Hog Price
This week (October 19th-23rd), hog price in China falls back after a slight rise. And the average price index nationwide is 28.99 CNY/kg, a decrease of 0.78 CNY/kg or 2.60% versus 29.77 CNY/kg in the previous week, and a decline of 11.90 CNY/kg or 29.10% compared with 40.89 CNY/kg in the same period last year.

II. Breeding Margins
This week, the breeding margin of purchased piglet is 1052.50 CNY per head nationwide, down by 21.68 CNY or 2.10% from 1030.82 CNY last Friday and down by 1071.24 CNY or 50.40% from 2123.74 CNY a year earlier.
