Stocks of Rapeseed, Rapeseed oil and Rapeseed Meal in Coastal Areas and East China (Week 43, 2020)

I. Rapeseed: stocks and port arrivals

This week (ending Oct 23), China’s rapeseed inventory totals 232,000 tonnes in coastal areas, down 60,000 tonnes or 20.55% from 292,000 tonnes last week but up 10.48% from 210,000 tonnes of the corresponding period last year. Among them, stock in Guangxi, Guangdong and Fujian is 232,000 tonnes, down 20.55% from 292,000 tonnes last week and up 54.67% from 150,000 tonnes of the same week in the previous year. Rapeseed imports from Canada will include 238,000 tonnes in October and 180,000 tonnes in November, according to data by Cofeed. Currently, only several private-owned and foreign-funded oil mills are making imports, and Chinese companies will make bulk imports only in the wake of a thaw between China and Canada.

This week (ending Oct 23), rapeseed oil stocks are 284,000 tonnes in domestic coastal regions, down 9,400 tonnes or 3.20% from 293,400 tonnes last week and down by 7.44% from 454,000 tonnes of the same period last year. More details for stocks:
