With a sharp decline in operation rates among coastal mills this week (Oct 24-30), rapeseed crush in 101 domestic mills surveyed by Cofeed totals 49,560 tonnes, down 11,000 tonnes or 18.16% from 60,560 tonnes last week. Of it, imported rapeseed is 49,000 tonnes (meal 26,950 tonnes and oil 20,580 tonnes) and domestic rapeseed 560 tonnes. Meanwhile, the operation rate (capability utilization) goes down to 9.89% from 12.09% last week, of which it is 0.21% for domestic rapeseed; and it is 23.73% for imported rapeseed in coastal regions, compared to 29.06% last week. The crush is predicted to be 52,000 tonnes and 50,000 tonnes in the next two weeks, respectively.
