Stocks of Rapeseed, Rapeseed oil and Rapeseed Meal in Coastal Areas and East China (Week 44, 2020)

I. Rapeseed: stocks and port arrivals

This week (ending Oct 30), China’s rapeseed inventory totals 246,000 tonnes in coastal areas, up 14,000 tonnes or 6.03% from 232,000 tonnes last week but up 48.64% from 165,500 tonnes of the corresponding period last year. Among them, stock in Guangxi, Guangdong and Fujian is 246,000 tonnes, up 6.03% from 232,000 tonnes last week and up 96.02% from 125,500 tonnes of the same week in the previous year. Rapeseed imports from Canada will include 283,000 tonnes in October and 180,000 tonnes in November, according to data by Cofeed. Currently, only several private-owned and foreign-funded oil mills are making imports, and Chinese companies will make bulk imports only in the wake of a thaw between China and Canada.

This week (ending Oct 30), rapeseed oil stocks are 257,900 tonnes in domestic coastal regions, down 26,100 tonnes or 9.19% from 284,000 tonnes last week and down by 41.23% from 438,800 tonnes of the same period last year. More details for stocks:
