As millers have sharply lowered down operation rates this week (Nov 7-13), rapeseed crush in 101 domestic mills surveyed by Cofeed totals 36,000 tonnes, down 14,000 tonnes or 28% from 50,000 tonnes last week. Of it, imported rapeseed is 36,000 tonnes (meal 19,800 tonnes and oil 15,120 tonnes). Meanwhile, the operation rate (capability utilization) goes down to 7.19% from 9.98% last week, of which it is unchanged at 0% for domestic rapeseed; and it is 17.43% for imported rapeseed in coastal regions, compared to 24.21% last week. The crush is predicted to increase to 49,500 tonnes in both the next two weeks.
