With a notable pickup in operation rates among coastal mills this week (Nov 14-20), rapeseed crush in 101 domestic mills surveyed by Cofeed totals 42,000 tonnes, up 6,000 tonnes or 16.67% from 36,000 tonnes last week. Of it, imported rapeseed is 42,000 tonnes (meal 23,100 tonnes and oil 17,640 tonnes). Meanwhile, the operation rate (capability utilization) goes up to 8.38% from 7.19% last week, of which it is unchanged at 0% for domestic rapeseed; and it is 20.34% for imported rapeseed in coastal regions, compared to 17.43% last week. The crush is predicted to increase to 49,500 tonnes in both the next two weeks.
