I. Hog Price
This week (Dec 21-25), hog price in China goes up nationwide. And the average price index nationwide is 34.57 CNY/kg, an increase of 0.45 CNY/kg or 1.30% versus 34.12 CNY/kg in the previous week, and a rise of 0.84 CNY/kg or 2.50% compared to 33.73 CNY/kg in the same period last year.

II. Breeding Margins
This week, the breeding margin of purchased piglet is 2059.13 CNY per head nationwide, up 47.25 CNY or 2.30% from 2011.88 CNY last Friday and up 880.75 CNY or 74.70% from 1178.38 CNY a year earlier.
