Stocks of Rapeseed, Rapeseed oil and Rapeseed Meal in Coastal Areas and East China (Week 52, 2020)

I. Rapeseed: stocks and port arrivals

This week (ending Dec 25), China’s rapeseed inventory totals 279,000 tonnes in coastal areas, up 9,000 tonnes or 3.3% from 270,000 tonnes last week and up 170.87% from 103,000 tonnes of the corresponding period last year. Among them, stock in Guangxi, Guangdong and Fujian is 279,000 tonnes, up 3.3% from 270,000 tonnes last week and up 170.87% from 103,000 tonnes of the same week in the previous year. Rapeseed imports will include 258,000 tonnes from Canada and 91,000 tonnes from Australia in December and 300,000 tonnes from Canada in January, according to data by Cofeed. Currently, only several private-owned and foreign-funded oil mills are making imports, and Chinese companies will make bulk imports only in the wake of a thaw between China and Canada.

This week (ending Dec 25), rapeseed oil stocks are 142,100 tonnes in domestic coastal regions, down 19,500 tonnes or 12.07% from 161,600 tonnes last week and down by 58.42% from 341,800 tonnes of the same period last year. More details for stocks:
