As mills in coastal regions have substantially raised operation rates this week (Nov 28-Dec 4), rapeseed crush in 101 domestic mills surveyed by Cofeed totals 50,000 tonnes, up 11,000 tonnes or 28.2% from 39,000 tonnes last week. Of it, imported rapeseed is 50,000 tonnes (meal 27,500 tonnes and oil 21,000 tonnes). Meanwhile, the operation rate (capability utilization) goes up to 9.98% from 7.78% last week, of which it is unchanged at 0% for domestic rapeseed; and it is 24.21% for imported rapeseed in coastal regions, compared to 18.89% last week. The crush is predicted to fall to 49,500 tonnes in both the next two weeks.
