Stocks of Rapeseed, Rapeseed oil and Rapeseed Meal in Coastal Areas and East China (Week 50, 2020)

I. Rapeseed: stocks and port arrivals

This week (ending Dec 11), China’s rapeseed inventory totals 264,000 tonnes in coastal areas, up 15,000 tonnes or 6.02% from 249,000 tonnes last week and up 37.5% from 192,000 tonnes of the corresponding period last year. Among them, stock in Guangxi, Guangdong and Fujian is 264,000 tonnes, up 6.02% from 249,000 tonnes last week and up 37.5% from 192,000 tonnes of the same week in the previous year. Rapeseed imports will include 300,000 tonnes from Canada and 61,000 tonnes from Australia in December and 180,000 tonnes from Canada in January, according to data by Cofeed. Currently, only several private-owned and foreign-funded oil mills are making imports, and Chinese companies will make bulk imports only in the wake of a thaw between China and Canada.

This week (ending Dec 11), rapeseed oil stocks are 155,300 tonnes in domestic coastal regions, down 23,200 tonnes or 13% from 178,500 tonnes last week and down by 55.60% from 349,800 tonnes of the same period last year. More details for stocks:
