I. Hog Price
This week (Dec 14-18), hog price in China extends the rally nationwide. And the average price index nationwide is 34.12 CNY/kg, an increase of 1.30 CNY/kg or 4.00% versus 32.82 CNY/kg in the previous week, and a rise of 0.47 CNY/kg or 1.40% compared to 33.65 CNY/kg in the same period last year.

II. Breeding Margins
This week, the breeding margin of purchased piglet is 2011.88 CNY per head nationwide, up 117.54 CNY or 6.20% from 1894.34 CNY last Friday and up 843.28 CNY or 72.20% from 1168.60 CNY a year earlier.
