I. Hog Price
This week (Dec 28-31), hog price in China extends its rally. And the average price index nationwide is 36.09 CNY/kg, an increase of 1.52 CNY/kg or 4.40% versus 34.57 CNY/kg in the previous week, and a rise of 2.07 CNY/kg or 6.10% compared to 34.02 CNY/kg in the same period last year.

II. Breeding Margins
This week, the breeding margin of purchased piglet is 2128.77 CNY per head nationwide, up 69.64 CNY or 3.40% from 2059.13 CNY last Friday and up 916.16 CNY or 75.60% from 1212.61 CNY a year earlier.
