As mills in coastal regions continue picking up operation rates this week (Dec 26-Jan 1), rapeseed crush in 101 domestic mills surveyed by Cofeed is 63,000 tonnes, up 7,000 tonnes or 12.5% from 56,000 tonnes last week. Of it, imported rapeseed is 63,000 tonnes (meal 34,650 tonnes and oil 26,460 tonnes). Meanwhile, the operation rate (capability utilization) goes up to 12.57% from 11.18% last week, of which it is 0% for domestic rapeseed; and it goes to 30.51% from 27.12% last week for imported rapeseed in coastal regions. The crush is predicted to decline to 41,500 tonnes as some mills suspend production, and then pick up again to 63,000 tonnes in that following week.
