I. Rapeseed: stocks and port arrivals

This week (ending Jan 8), China’s rapeseed inventory totals 358,000 tonnes in coastal areas, up 142,000 tonnes or 65.74% from 216,000 tonnes last week and up 358.9% from 78,000 tonnes of the corresponding period last year. Among them, stock in Guangxi, Guangdong and Fujian is 358,000 tonnes, up 142,000 tonnes or 65.74% from 216,000 last week and up 397.2% from 72,000 tonnes of the same week in the previous year. Rapeseed imports will include 303,000 tonnes and 120,000 tonnes from Canada in January and February respectively, according to data by Cofeed. Currently, only several private-owned and foreign-funded oil mills are making imports, and Chinese companies will make bulk imports only in the wake of a thaw between China and Canada.

II. Rapeseed oil stocks

This week (ending Jan 8), rapeseed oil stocks are 161,500 tonnes in domestic coastal regions, up 35,800 tonnes or 28.48% from 125,700 tonnes last week and down 49.4% from 319,200 tonnes a year earlier. More details for stocks:

III. Rapeseed meal stocks

This week (ending Jan 8), rapeseed meal stock has totaled 46,000 tonnes in domestic coastal regions, up 12,000 tonnes or 35.29% from 34,000 tonnes last week and up 95.74% from 23,500 tonnes a year earlier. More details for stocks:
