I. Hog Price
This week (Jan 11-15), China’s hog price sees early declines but afterwards goes up, marginally higher than the previous week on the whole. And the average price index nationwide is 36.45 CNY/kg, an increase of 0.02 CNY/kg or 0.10% versus 36.43 CNY/kg last week, and a rise of 0.03 CNY/kg or 0.10% compared to 36.42 CNY/kg in the same period last year.

II. Breeding Margins
This week, the breeding margin of purchased piglet is 2021.68 CNY per head nationwide, down 64.9 CNY or 3.10% from 2086.58 CNY last Friday and up 542.42 CNY or 36.7% from 1479.26 CNY a year earlier.
