China imported 69,132.22 tonnes of soybean oil in December, up 25,985.97 tonnes from the previous month and up 4,768.48 tonnes from a year earlier, according to China’s Customs.

China’s soybean oil imports in December were mainly from Argentina (45,180.97 tonnes), Brazil (15,337.98 tonnes), Russian Federation (7,916.53 tonnes), China’s Taiwan Province (462.30 tonnes), Vietnam (152.33 tonnes), and Netherlands (12.17 tonnes).

China imported 962,935.66 tonnes of soybean oil from Jan to Dec this year, up 17.02% year over year.
