I. Hog Price
In the week from Jan 18 to Jan 22, China’s hog prices go down. And the average price index nationwide is 34.90 CNY/kg, a decrease of 1.55 CNY/kg or 1.30% versus 36.45 CNY/kg last week, and a decline of 1.71 CNY/kg or 4.70% compared to 36.61 CNY/kg in the same period last year.

II. Breeding Margins
This week, the breeding margin of purchased piglet is 1678.25 CNY per head nationwide, down 343.43 CNY or 17.00% from 2021.68 CNY last Friday and down 61.82 CNY or 3.60% from 1740.07 CNY a year earlier.
