I. Hog Price
In the week from Jan 25 to Jan 29, China’s hog prices continue falling from the previous week. And the average price index nationwide is 33.67 CNY/kg, a decrease of 1.23 CNY/kg or 3.50% versus 34.90 CNY/kg last week, and a decline of 3.85 CNY/kg or 10.30% compared to 37.52 CNY/kg in the same period last year.

II. Breeding Margins
This week, the breeding margin of purchased piglet is 1400.39 CNY per head nationwide, down 277.86 CNY or 16.60% from 1678.25 CNY last Friday and down 351.07 CNY or 20.00% from 1751.46 CNY a year earlier.
